What we are going to share with you is
the discovery we made after we established a chain of preschools. Like
most other people of our age, we believed that a child between the ages of 2-5
years has a limited potential of learning. This could be few rhymes,
animals, birds, colors, surroundings, etc.
We too started our curriculum with the
above basics. Nevertheless, every year we decided to explore further as
to what more a child can learn. The revelation was startling. Child's
curiosity and ability to grasp is mind blowing.
Kids at this tender age in our school can
- Perform theater/dramatics with fantastic expression and communication skills. We believe, these are important components of child’s holistic development.
- Fearlessly address a hall packed with adult audience. This can only be done by regularly building a sense of appreciation and self-confidence in children.
- Potential to learn multi languages. The childhood is the most exciting period of a child’s growth. Therefore, we ensure that the children can maximize their learning potential during this time.
- Habit of hygiene – To keep themselves clean along with their rooms, cupboards, books and their surroundings spic and span.
- Take decisions in a given situation. The sooner a child becomes self-sufficient, the better they will perform. Building the ability to introspect is one, which will be both beneficial as well as crucial for the child.
- Build social skills and strong value system like respect elders, respect for labour, accept diversity, empathy towards less fortunate.
- Develop leadership skills and spirit of competitiveness, winning attitude.
- They gave the ability to raise their bar with every success and accept failure with equal strengths.
Moreover, the journey continues…
All this will surely create a happy, fiercely independent, and a confident adult, ready to take on the world.
Nest Preschool is committed to raise the bar and foster skill sets and values that will make children happy, content, and successful adults.
